June 1, 2017
As you may know, the College of Midwives of Ontario is seeking three midwives to fill positions on Council. These three-year terms on Council start in October 2017 and conclude in October 2020.
Council is the College’s governing body, responsible for making decisions that best serve the public interest and improve the quality of midwifery care in Ontario. The College’s Council and Committees are made up of elected midwives (RMs) from across the province and members of the public appointed by the Government of Ontario. Midwives on Council are nominated and elected by their peers.
