The College’s online registration renewal period runs from October 1 to September 30 every year. Members are required to renew their certificates of registration on an annual basis.
The online renewal site is live and available during the renewal period 24/7 in the Member Portal of the CMO website. You will need your username and password to access the site.
Tax receipts for registration fees paid in the tax year (January 1 to December 31) will be issued in February.
Members who do not pay their annual fees risk suspension for non-payment of fees. If you are suspended for non-payment of fees, a permanent record of the suspension will be noted on the Public Register. Even if you eventually pay your fees, the suspension remains part of your Public Register record and will not be removed.
Members who fail to submit accurate and legible proof of certification risk suspension for failure to meet registration requirements. If you are suspended, a permanent record of the suspension will be noted on the Public Register. Even if you eventually submit accurate and legible proof, the suspension remains part of your Public Register record and will not be removed.
If a Member fails to pay all of the fees that she is required to pay, on or before October 1, the Member shall pay, in addition to the outstanding balance owed, a penalty equivalent to 15% of the total annual fee. If a member chooses to pay a fee by instalment, where allowed, the late penalty fee owing will be 15% of the total annual fee (rather than 15% of the amount of the late instalment). The entire late penalty fee will be levied each and every time the Member is late with an instalment payment.
